Notes: A Pureblood-Morph born in a family of mages. This is not as uncommon as it sounds, since Purebloods have a much stronger connection to magick. He was also an Ancient (approximately 1800 years old at the time of his death).
Ferox was a Roman legionary in the army of Constantine and was present when Constantine received his vision to go forth and conquer in the sign of the cross, circa 312 CE. Ferox has a history of butting heads with the Council of Three, thinking that they do not do enough. He particularly struggled with the Wolf-Councillor. He took the name “Deus Lupus” when he had his vision of a united humanity and Netherworld shortly after World War One ended, 1918 CE. His actions divided the Morph Community and started the Great War. When he was killed, the Morph Community took charge of his body and declared that he would be remembered as a hero. Ferox’s magick was great, but it all centred upon his transformations. This is how he was able to teach himself to talk while in Pureblood form. Deus Lupus is presumed dead, killed in battle by another Pureblood-Morph (Chelsea Chattan).

Notes: Although no longer the psychotic, ultra aggressive beast of ancient times, Jeremy Moon is still a were-boar. Fits of rage still haunt him from time to time and emotional tragedies can bring on almost psychotic episodes. This is all due to the ancient ancestry of the were-boar. After the events of “Melpomene” he has started undergoing therapy, leaving Jacob at somewhat loose ends.

Notes: Formerly Wolf-Councillor’s heir, now Wolf-Councillor.
Harry used to live near Chelsea, but she never knew he was a were-wolf.
Harry is self-described as a regular guy, and not a diplomat. Timon believes that is a good reason for Harry to be on the Council. He is married to Barbara. She fully supports the effort to reinstate the Council of Three.

Notes: The fabled Magickal Pureblood and Messiah of the Netherworld. That’s what the legends say. Those who know of Chelsea’s abilities are skeptical about her. A cursed morph cannot be a Magickal Pureblood. She who commands the Magick would come from a great Morph Line, or so it is believed. While Chelsea’s powers are great, they are raw and untrained. She will have a great journey to travel before she can fully understand who and what she is.

Born: 1976 CE
Notes: Corrine is an Alpha-Morph–Witch. She was also born under a curse. Corrine has great magickal power and through spells, chants, and so forth can wield great power even in morph form. She is an exceptional specimen of both worlds.
Corrine ran away from home at fifteen because she could not stand her step-father. She attempted to commit suicide in San Francisco in the late 1980s or very early ’90s. Her family thought she was dead at that time. However, she survived and manifested as an Alpha-Morph—Leopard. At that time she encountered the Fire Wizard Jacob, who became her mentor in magick. At this time she took the name Melpomene (“Mel”). She has been involved in the Great War. Corrine was thought dead, killed by Deus Lupus, but has somehow come back to life. It’s not known yet how or why.

Notes: Roger is a classic Alpha-Morph. It is not known if he became a morph through a curse or through a morph family line. (However, see CRFH!!! 2000-07-26.)
Like his totem animal, the coyote, Roger is mostly a loner and often lives outside the mainstream realm of life. Roger is both a mutant (with his eye-in-the-hand) and a were-coyote which makes him special indeed.
We see Roger’s eye-in-the-hand in action. The Underling describes Roger as a mutant were-beast, which the Esteemed Author wants to clarify as meaning both a mutant and a were-beast, not a were-beast because he’s a mutant.
